The Per la Polpetta project makes its debut in the travel channel through an exclusive partnership with Areas MyChef, our strategic partner in delivering quality dining experiences on the go. The new corner will open at the end of June at the La Pioppa Ovest service area.
A format rooted in tradition
Per la Polpetta brings the authentic home-style cooking of Mamma Teresa to the motorway, renowned for her tomato-sauce meatballs, which were awarded Best Meatball in Italy at the International Meatball Festival in Milan in 2017. The menu is designed to offer a quick yet flavourful break, featuring dishes that celebrate the simplicity and excellence of homemade cuisine.
Iconic sandwiches and options for every taste
In addition to the famous tomato-sauce meatballs, the corner will offer a selection of the format’s most iconic sandwiches, including vegetarian and fish-based options, in line with the needs of an increasingly diverse clientele.
A new addition to La Pioppa Ovest’s premium offering
The launch of Per la Polpetta adds to the premium food offer at La Pioppa Ovest, part of Areas MyChef’s broader strategy to enhance the travel food experience. Within the same food court, FRetail has already introduced premium dining spaces including Stortellini, F.lli Desideri and Ortus Vivendi, delivering a varied and refined gastronomic offering for increasingly discerning travellers.
